The MID49 Baseline Bridgeplate 15mm Studio is a quick-release ARRI-standard bridge plate that, combined with Baseline 15mm LW baseplates, positions studio-offset rods at the correct distance from the lens center. It's aimed at cinematographers on the West Coast, where 15mm studio bridgeplates are the local standard, who need compatible rigging rather than the lightweight variant. A top-load locking mechanism makes camera swaps fast between setups.
- ARRI Standard Dovetail, Top-Load Lock: A bottom ARRI dovetail slot attaches via a top-load locking mechanism, released with a traditional bridge plate lever and safety release.
- Front or Back Installation: Installs and removes from most ARRI-standard dovetails from either the front or the back.
- Included Mounting Screws: Ships with two 3/8-16 and two 1/4-20 screws for installing into offset screw holes on the Baseline ARRI Dovetail.
- 15mm Studio Standard: Sized for 15mm studio rod spacing common in California productions (see the separate Baseline 15mm LW for lightweight spacing).
- Compact, 10.40oz: Weighs just 10.40oz (294g) at 6.03 x 3.96 x 1.24in.
