MID49 Power Distribution Box DB-8 (Sony Burano, V-Mount)

The MID49 Power Distribution Box DB-8 (V-Mount) mounts directly to the back of a Sony Burano and manages power between an onboard battery and an AC-fed DC input, so accessories and the camera stay powered through a battery swap. Its SMART FUSE system automatically budgets remaining power to accessories based on what the camera itself is drawing.

• SMART FUSE Power Allocation: Monitors the Burano's roughly 2.8A draw at 14V and allocates the remaining capacity of a connected battery to accessories, cutting accessory power (with an LED warning and reset button) if the budget is exceeded.
• Hot-Swap Battery/DC Input: Switches between the onboard V-Mount battery and a 4-pin XLR DC input without dropping power to the camera or accessories; DC input takes priority down to 12.5V.
• Removable LANC Cable: Enables remote start/stop of the camera through 3-pin Fischer devices.
• Multiple Regulated Outputs: Provides 2x D-Tap, 2x 3-pin Fischer (24V/2.5A with run/stop), 2x 2-pin LEMO-compatible, and 1x USB-C PD (5V/3A) outputs.
• Sony Venice/Venice 2 Compatible: Works with Sony Venice and Venice 2 cameras using an optional adapter cable.
• Short-Circuit Shutdown: Immediately shuts down on a complete short circuit and stays off until the fault is cleared.
