The Autel Alpha is the first drone in Autel's quadcopter lineup with a dual-battery design, and this is a 2-pack of the batteries that slot side by side into the tail of the aircraft for that configuration. Running both batteries together gives the Alpha its 48-minute maximum flight time, and they're hot-swappable, with a battery pull taking about 30 seconds. Both batteries in a pair must run the same firmware version and should always be charged and discharged together to preserve their lifespan.
