The ProMaster 2551 is a coiled audio cable that lets you connect a microphone or wireless receiver with a camera, camcorder, or similar device with small 2.5mm TRS jack. While it is true that most cameras and camcorders use a 3.5mm TRS audio jack, there are some that use a smaller 2.5mm version instead.
