Canon Is Releasing a Limited Edition G7 X Mark III
Canon has announced a limited edition PowerShot G7 X Mark III to celebrate the 30th anniversary of the PowerShot compact camera lineup.
The G7 X has recently surged in popularity again among creators and vloggers, often selling out as demand for compact creator cameras continues to grow.
So what’s actually different about this version?

• Diamond-textured control ring around the lens

Aside from the cosmetic changes, the camera remains the same internally as the standard G7 X Mark III.

Price & release
Canon says the limited edition is expected to ship around April 28th, 2026 with an estimated price of about $1,299.
